Burma – möjligheter till politisk förändring i cyklonens spår

The coordinator of the Foundation’s Burma project will hold a public lecture on the situation in Burma – one year after the popular uprising and five months after the cyclon Nargis hit the country. The lecture will be in Swedish and is a cooperation between the Foundation and the Peace Museum.

  • Another Development for Burma

    The project Another Development for Burma provides a platform for groups and individuals within the Burmese democracy movement to consider long-term, holistic and visionary thinking on the future of Burma. Activists, practitioners and politicians meet in seminars and workshops to discuss policy alternatives and draft policy recommendations for various thematic sectors.

    Since 2001 the Foundation has facilitated the project in close collaboration with Burmese democracy activists in exile. For more information, contact Matilda Hald, matilda.hald@dhf.uu.se
