Prof. Hans Joas, Director of the Max Weber Center for Advanced Cultural and Social Studies, Erfurt and Professor of Sociology and Social Thought, University of Chicago;
Alex Obote-Odora, Chief (Director) of the Appeals and Legal Advisory Division at the Office of the Prosecutor, United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda in Arusha;

No pre-registration is needed for the panel debate.

The event is organised in collaboration with the Hugo Valentin Centre and the Swedish Institute of International Law at Uppsala University in connection with the 8th Annual Hugo Valentin Lecture presented on 16th March at 19.15 hrs by Prof. William Schabas in Uppsala University’s main building.
